American Atheists is America’s premier nonprofit organization by and for atheists. Our quarterly magazine is packed with news, articles, and essays not found on the website. Here you’ll find in-depth stories about our current legal battles, celebrity interviews, book excerpts and reviews, and articles about all aspects of atheism, including the challenge of coming out as a nonbeliever. Besides the total separation of church and state, American Atheists fights for the civil rights on nonbelievers, including the right to exist openly without stigma. These pages feature people’s true stories of coming out, as well as advice and motivation to get out of the closet if you feel trapped in it with no way out. You’ll also enjoy highly readable pieces by scholars who offer examples upon examples of historical facts that prove American was not founded as a Christian nation.

Latest reviews of American Atheist Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Very Difficult to Read on an iPhone
This app did not use any technology (formatting, font-size) to make the magazine readable on an iPhone. I had to constantly resize and drag the page around so I could read it. I soon gave up. Having said that, I am a big fan of American Atheist Magazine, and I hope they produce an online version that is adaptable to the iPhone, because I would like to be able to read it there.
Bad app, great mag
As another reviewer said, its difficult to read this on an iPhone. Zooming in and dragging left/right/left/right gets old fast. I hope this is improved in a new version, because I really like the magazine - which isnt available in any book store near me.
IPad
I honestly dont know how well this magazine is on the iPhone but most articles are hard to read on such a s,all screen however on the iPad American Atheists really shines I love my collection and easy accessibility, but the biggest plus to me is I get to give a little support to such a great organization!!! Thank you for everything that you all do.
Looks great on an iPad
The magazine is brilliant on an iPad 3, or the "New iPad." If you dont have a Barnes and Nobles in your area, you should download the magazine.
Ripoff
I downloaded the app, read the free issue and liked it. I tried to purchase another issue but it did not download. Nonetheless, I was charged for it.
